About the event

The Dorothy Wordsworth Festival of Women's Poetry: Three Laureates Reading: Gillian Clarke, Liz Lochhead & Carol Ann Duffy. A rare opportunity to see the Poet Laureate alongside Scotland's Makar and the National Poet of Wales.
Gillian Clarke is a majestic reader. Her new collection of poems, Ice, is due later in the year. Liz Lochhead's appointment as Makar last year confirmed her position as one of Scotland's most popular poets. Carol Ann Duffy, Poet Laureate and inspiration behind the Festival, will bring the weekend to a close in her own unique way. Tickets: £10.00 advance payment, £11.00 on door.
