About the event

Homage to Sylvia Plath, Poetry Library, Southbank Centre. Anticipating the 50th anniversary of Plath's death (she died in 1963) and her final annus mirabilis, 1962, contemporary women poets including Anne Cluysenaar, Fiona Sampson, Myra Schneider and Pauline Stainer reflect on Plath's contribution to the higher profile of poetry by women from the '60s onwards and celebrate her achievement by reading their poetry.
