Benjamin Zephaniah at the Ilkley Literature Festival. One of England's best-known and best-loved poets makes a welcome return to Ilkley. A master of oral and performance art, Zephaniah has been heard in readings from Palestine to Argentina. His poetry books include Too Black, Too Strong, Talking Turkeys, The Dread Affair and City Psalms and he has released several records, including one with Bob Marley and the Wailers. Benjamin Zephaniah is Professor of Creative Writing at Brunel University, London. Tickets £12/10. Adults and young people.
