Based in UK, currently remote working
Now in our second decade, with recordings of poems by over 500 poets that truly represent the wealth and breadth of poetic voices from all backgrounds, and more than 1.7m visitors a year, we are now looking to build on our success even further.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Director to take us into our next phase of growth, ensuring we have a solid financial model while realising our ambition to make poetry accessible, relevant and enjoyable to as wide an audience as possible.
The Director will lead our creative vision, with full support from our co-founders, and will also take responsibility for the efficient governance and management of our charity’s resources, including people, money and information.
This new role will suit someone who has a broad understanding of the current arts and literature sector in the UK, is a charismatic networker and fundraiser, a great team leader, and who knows how to keep a charity healthy and compliant. Above all, it will suit someone who gets excited about creating and delivering sustainable projects that help people appreciate the joy and inspiration that poetry provides.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community.
