You may have noticed that your favourite living poet is not yet represented in the Archive's collection. If that is so, please let us know and we will do our best to add the recording you have suggested. (We cannot promise to send a personal reply to the emails we receive but you can be certain that your email will be read.)
Some gaps in our collection of historic recordings are caused by the fact that, as far as our researchers can find out, no recordings exist by some poets from the twentieth century and the end of the nineteenth century. We would be delighted to find previously unknown recordings by great poets from the past; especially by such poets as Thomas Hardy and A. E. Housman, who were never, as far as we know, invited to record their work.
If you have such a recording, please let us know!
